Sunrisers Hyderabad blasted their way to a 44-run win over Rajasthan Royals in their last match as they began the new season with a big win.

Sunrisers Hyderabad smashed 286/6 in their opening match against Rajasthan Royals before restricting their opponents to 242/6 in their 20. While the Royals did go well above 200 runs in their clash, SRH's bowling lineup impressed as they held their nerve on a batter-friendly wicket.

Ishan Kishan was the player of the match with 106 not out in an unbelievable display of hitting that ultimately won his side the game. With reigning champions Kolkata Knight Riders losing their opening match, 2024's runners-up SRH began the season with a big win as they made a major statement.

With the chance to make it two consecutive wins in the IPL this year, I am backing SRH to win again. Travis Head had to play the support role in the opener, but he looked in good touch, scoring 67. I am backing the Aussie to top score in this one as he leads his side to victory.

Lucknow Super Giants Form

Lucknow Super Giants were denied victory by the tightest of margins as they slipped to a one-wicket defeat at the hands of Delhi Capitals.

LSG notched a competitive 209/8 in their 20 overs, with Nicholas Pooran (75) and Mitchell Marsh (72) scoring the bulk of the runs. However, LSG struggled to contain Delhi Capitals, while they were not able to take the all-important final wicket despite having DC teetering at 192/9.

In this one, I am backing more frustration for LSG. They have now lost four of their last five, and I predict that the home side will wow their fans with another exciting display.
