The English Premier League is heating up, with the biggest domestic club competition in the world delivering even more thrills and spills as England's best sides do battle once again. 

With the new season edging towards its conclusion, Liverpool are the overwhelming favourites to secure the trophy this season, priced at 1.02 as we head towards the final few months of the campaign.

Liverpool have enjoyed an excellent season so far, winning 21 of their opening 29 matches and moving onto 70 points. Arsenal remain their nearest rivals, but they have struggled of late, with the side still 12 points short of the Reds at the summit. 

Nottingham Forest are the best of the rest at this stage of the season, with Chelsea and Manchester City even further back after struggling for consistency of late. While the pair have spent huge sums on their squads, they have not been good enough this term. 

Despite City arriving for this season as the champions, they were pushed all the way by Arsenal in 2023/24 as they finished just two points clear of their opponents. The thrilling title race in 2023/24 looked to be going down to the final day for City, Arsenal and Liverpool until the latter stalled. 

As it was, City secured the title once again as they proved to everyone they were the best side in England. 

This season, City have found it incredibly tough to consistently win matches as they have slipped a long way off the pace. Too many mistakes and poor performances has seen their title defence crumble, with the side now having to battle for a top-four spot this term.

Meanwhile, Liverpool and Arsenal have profited from City's woes. The pair are currently in a two-horse race for the title, with both in with a chance of adding the biggest domestic trophy in England to their collection.
