Serie A is the highest level of club football in Italy, with the competition boasting the likes of Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan.
With the new season 29 games old, reigning champions Inter Milan can be backed as the favourites to secure the title at 1.33 with bet365, but can they backup their title success last year with another triumph?

Inter Milan secured the Serie A title in 2024 on the back of a stunning run that saw them lose just two of their 38 league games. They are the favourites at 1.33 with bet365, ahead of the likes of Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli.
The opening 29 weeks of the season has not seen a side maintain a perfect record. Inter top the table with 64 points coming from 19 wins, seven draws and just three defeats.
Napoli arrive as Inter's closest rivals in the table and in the betting. The side sit on 61 points, three points behind the leaders. Atalanta are also in the title race with 58 points, while Juventus lag behind in the table with 52 points, with the side all but out of the race at 251.00.
Inter's exploits last year have seen a massive target painted on their backs. The reigning champions won 29 of their 38 league games, allowing them to finish 19 clear of arch-rivals AC Milan in second.
While Juventus were 23 points off the pace at the end of the season, they were seen as being one of Inter's main rivals in the competition. However, they are already 12 points behind the leaders, with Napoli and Atalanta better placed to challenge.
Second-placed Napoli romped to the title with a 16 point lead over Lazio in the 2022/23 season. However, they were left stunned last year, finishing in 10th with 53 points, meaning Inter picked up almost double their total points.
While Inter did secure the title with room to spare last year, the 2024/25 season may prove to be the most competitive yet. Napoli and Atalanta have shown that they can match the leaders, and if Inter slip-up, they can expect to see one or both of their rivals take advantage of this.
