Jordan beat Palestine 3-1 in their last match as they extended their unbeaten run to four matches.

Head To Head

The pair have met eight times, with South Korea winning four matches, Jordan winning once and three games ending in draws.

South Korea Form

South Korea's World Cup qualifying campaign has stalled of late, with an excellent start making way for two draws in their last two.

Palestine and Oman have taken points from South Korea in their last two, with both matches ending 1-1. South Korea's inability to get away from the opposition is a worry for the side, especially with Jordan and Iraq now just three points behind them in Group B. Victories are more important than ever as South Korea look to tighten their grip on top-spot.

However, with the side drawing their last two and drawing three of their eight total matches against Jordan, I predict that the home side will struggle as they are held for a third successive outing.

Jordan Form

Jordan have been very impressive in World Cup qualifying, and they are now just three points short of South Korea at the top of Group B.

A win in this match would send them to the top via their goal difference, while it would extend their unbeaten run to five matches.

However, it is worth bearing in mind that Jordan's last loss came as they were beaten 2-0 by their next opponents back in October. While I back Jordan to give South Korea a lot of issues on the pitch, I believe that a draw is more likely than a win as the travelling side return home with a point.

Verdict

I am backing Jordan to secure a point as they consign South Korea to a third consecutive draw.
