The 2025 US Open will be the final Grand Slam event of the tennis season, with the best players in the game descending on New York to battle for the trophy.

Ahead of the competition in 2025, reigning champion Jannik Sinner is the one to watch at 3.00, but is he the only player at the head of the betting?

Jannik Sinner swept all before him aside at the US Open in 2024, with a stunning run to the final that saw him hammer home favourite Taylor Fritz in straight-sets.

His triumph in 2024 means he is the joint-favourite at 3.00, with Carlos Alcaraz also available at 3.00. Novak Djokovic is right behind the duo at 3.50.

The betting then begins to jump, with Alexander Zverev the only option available below 10.00. Daniil Medvedev, Jack Draper, Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe follow in the betting, with the rest of the field someway short of the top three.

In 2024, Sinner was able to profit from both Alcaraz and Djokovic falling very early in the competition. Alcaraz was eliminated in three sets in the second round, while Djokovic was humbled in a 3-1 loss in the third round.

While this left a vacuum at the competition, it was filled by Sinner, who did not look back as he secured the final Slam of the season. While Sinner has always been seen as a viable proposition on the men's side, securing his second Slam will only add to the target on his back.

It will be interesting to see whether youngster Alcaraz is able to better his dismal showing at the 2024 event, while Djokovic surely only has a few more appearances at the US Open. This all adds together to make 2025's iteration of the competition even more interesting.

Who will win the 2025 US Open? Can Jannik Sinner defend his crown, or will another player secure the trophy in New York?
