The 2024 US Open has been incredibly exciting, with the women's side of the competition throwing up pulsating matches and shocking moments from minute one.

Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek are the current favourites to secure the trophy in 2024, with the pair priced at 1.83 and 3.60 respectively, but should you back either of the duo?

Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek are the current favourites, with both players at the top of the game when they are on song. However, the women's side of the game has been incredibly exciting as it is so unpredictable, with favourites falling and underdogs rising to the top.

Karolina Muchova is next in line and the only option available below 10.00, with Emma Navarro, Jessica Pegula and Beatriz Haddad Maia also in the running to win a competition that has been incredibly exciting so far.

While the men's side of the game has been dominated by the likes of Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner, the women's game sees different winners constantly. This makes the competition incredibly exciting, but the unpredictable nature of the sport means betting on the winner can be tough.

Indeed, no player on the women's side of the game has been able to defend their title since Serena Williams continued her domination with three triumphs in a row between 2012-2014.

The lack of consistent winners at the US Open means that any player can be made into a viable choice. Indeed, if Wimbledon is anything to go by, then the top choices should be approached with caution. While Sabalenka had to withdraw due to injury, Swiatek and Gauff were both knocked out in the Round of 16, while Rybakina was eliminated in the semi-finals despite seemingly having the competition at her mercy.

Which player do you think will win the 2024 Women's US Open? Can Sabalenka and Swiatek come through on being the top options, or will the women's game continue to shock and entertain?
