The 2025 Women's US Open will be played across August and September, with the best players in the women's game all looking to triumph in New York.

Aryna Sabalenka secured the crown in 2024 as she beat Jessica Pegula in the final, and she is currently the favourite to win the final Grand Slam of the year and defend her crown at 3.25.

Aryna Sabalenka was outstanding in New York in 2024 as she secured the title, only dropping one set across her seven outings. This has seen Sabalenka installed as the favourite to defend her crown at 3.25.

The frustratingly inconsistent Iga Swiatek is next in line at 5.00, although her disappointing run to the quarter-final in 2024 will have bettors approaching her with caution.

Coco Gauff and Elena Rybakina are the only options available at or below 10.00, with 2024's beaten finalist Jessica Pegula, Mirra Andreeva and Qinwen Zheng next.

While Sabalenka was always among the favourites heading into the US Open, the rest of the field seemed to fluctuate with each point that passed. Favourites fell away and underdogs claimed stunning wins in yet another example of just how unpredictable the women's game has become.

While this means that any player is a viable option, it also provides challenges as bettors see those at the head of the betting underperform.

Of course, Sabalenka proved that the favourites can excel as she hammered all before her. However, it seems like a player only needs to have a few poor games in a match to see them eliminated as their opponent runs away with the win.

The US Open is still a long way off, meaning the odds will fluctuate massively as we head into the new tennis season and the three Grand Slams before the US Open come and go.

Who do you think will win the 2025 US Open? Can Aryna Sabalenka defend her crown, or will another player clinch glory?
