Wimbledon is the third Grand Slam of the year, and it is seen by many as the most prestigious of all the tennis events.

Played in front of packed crowds on the manicured lawns at SW19, Wimbledon is the only Grand Slam event played on grass, and it is the competition many players earmark as the one they want to win most. Ahead of 2025, reigning champion Carlos Alcaraz has been installed as the favourite to defend the crown he won in 2024.

Carlos Alcaraz could not be stopped at Wimbledon in 2024 as he blew all before him aside, eventually lifting the trophy on Centre Court. Alcaraz is the favourite to win once again this year, and he is priced at 2.20 to defend his crown.

US Open champion Jannik Sinner is right behind him at 3.00, while Novak Djokovic, who lost to Alcaraz at Wimbledon in 2024 before beating him in the gold medal match at the Olympics, is 4.00.

Showing the stranglehold of the trio, Jack Draper is next in line at 15.00, with the likes of Alexander Zverev, Daniil Medvedev and Lorenzo Musetti.

It will be a major shock to see anyone outside of Alcaraz, Sinner or Djokovic lifting the trophy at Wimbledon in 2025. The three have dominated the tennis circuit for some time now, and are all in good shape to win at Wimbledon next year.

Home favourite Jack Draper will be a proposition that interest a lot of people. He starred as he made it to the semi-finals of the US Open in 2024, and he will be roared on by the home crowd.

Of course, many players have battled one of the top-three with home field advantage only to find it meant little as the class of the likes of Alcaraz and Djokovic shone through.

Who do you think will lift the Wimbledon trophy in 2025? Will Alcaraz defend his crown, or will Djokovic, Sinner or another player wrestle the trophy from him?
