Wimbledon is widely seen as the most prestigious of the Grand Slams, with many of the best players in the women's game saving themselves to ensure they can give their best on the court in London.

2024 saw a shock result as Barbora Krejcikova secured the trophy as she beat Jasmine Paolini in a thrilling final, with this seeing the reigning champion installed at 11.00 to defend her crown at Wimbledon in 2025.

Iga Swiatek4.50

While Barbora Krejcikova secured the trophy in 2024, she is not currently the favourite to win in 2024. Instead, she is priced at 11.00, meaning she is someway short of the current favourites.

2024's US Open champion Aryna Sabalenka is the joint-favourite at 4.50, and she is joined at the head of the betting by Iga Swiatek. Elena Rybakina is 5.50, with Coco Gauff coming in at 10.00.

While the top-three are currently clear at the head of the betting, the women's side of the game has been so unpredictable that any player has a viable chance of scooping the trophy.

This does make wagering on the winner more difficult, but it can see bettors nailing a pick with big odds. Indeed, Krejcikova arrived for Wimbledon in 2024 outside of the favourites, while she was also seeded 31st.

She took on Jasmine Paolini in the final, who was seventh seed. The fact that nobody in the top-six could make it to the final shows just how turbulent the game is, culminating in incredibly exciting matches and tournaments as the best all trade blows on the court.

While Swiatek may be joint-favourite right now, she has proved very inconsistent in the past, with her billing as one to watch often ending in premature eliminations from the biggest competitions.

Who do you think will in Wimbledon in 2025? Can Barbora Krejcikova defend her crown, or will another player lift the trophy at Wimbledon in July?
